By accessing and using ordinal.co.za ("the Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECT Act) and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA).
Ordinal operates as a dropshipping retailer. Products are sourced from verified South African suppliers (Vermont Sales and Esquire) and shipped directly to customers. Ordinal acts as the seller of record for all transactions.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
An order is confirmed once payment has been received and verified. You will receive an email confirmation with your order reference. Ordinal reserves the right to cancel any order if a product is found to be out of stock after purchase — in such cases, a full refund will be issued within 5 business days.
All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price charged is the price displayed at the time of checkout.
We accept payment via PayFast (Visa, Mastercard, Instant EFT) and direct EFT bank transfer. EFT orders will be processed once payment reflects in our account (typically 1–3 business days).
All card transactions are processed through PayFast, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Ordinal does not store your card details.
Ordinal delivers nationwide across South Africa via courier. Standard delivery takes 3–7 business days after dispatch. Remote areas may take longer.
A flat shipping fee of R150.00 applies to orders below R1,500.00. Orders equal to or above this amount qualify for free delivery.
Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon delivery. Ordinal is not responsible for delays caused by the courier once dispatched.
A tracking number will be provided via email once your order has been dispatched.
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, you have the right to return goods under the following conditions:
You may return products within 7 days of delivery if the product is defective, damaged, or not as described. Products must be in original packaging, unused, and in resalable condition.
Email sales@ordinal.co.za with your order reference and reason for return. We will arrange collection or provide a return address.
Refunds are processed within 10 business days of receiving the returned product. Refunds are issued via the original payment method.
Items that have been used, damaged by the customer, or returned without original packaging may not qualify for a refund.
Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer/supplier. Please refer to the product documentation for warranty terms. Ordinal will assist in processing warranty claims with the relevant supplier.
We collect personal information necessary to process your order: name, email address, delivery address, phone number, and payment details. Payment card details are handled solely by PayFast and are not stored by Ordinal.
