This is the “business end” interface that takes the ratchet’s internal drive and turns it into usable torque at the socket side. The AirCraft AT0016-36 D-Type Head is a replacement drive head component for the AirCraft Air Ratchet Wrench (AT0016 series). It forms part of the ratchet head/output assembly, supporting correct alignment, secure engagement and smooth rotation under load. If the head becomes worn, damaged at the locating features, or develops excessive play, you can get wobble, inconsistent engagement and accelerated wear in the ratchet mechanism. Replacing the D-type head restores proper fit and helps the tool deliver clean, reliable performance again.
