Bushings don’t get the glory, but they absolutely control the feel of a tool. The AirCraft AT0012-26 Bushing is a replacement internal bushing for the AirCraft AT0012 reversible air drill. Its job is to support and guide rotating components, keeping shafts properly aligned while reducing metal-on-metal wear. If your drill has developed extra play, vibration, uneven running or a “loose” feel, a worn bushing can be one of the key culprits. Replacing it helps restore smoother rotation and more stable gearbox/motor operation.
When a bushing wears, components can shift slightly under load, which affects efficiency and can accelerate wear on gears, rotors and bearings. This replacement helps tighten everything back up.
